Hidden Valley Registration for FALL 2023-2024

begins in February 2023 (1st-5th Grade Only) by Appointment Only

(Please call the school to schedule an appointment time)


 

TK & Kindergarten Registration for Fall of 2023-2024 will be done through the Student Services Department's Enrollment Center, please click the link for more information. See their schedule below.

(Please have all required documents ready to bring that day. All additional documents will be available at your registration day)


 

Steps for Enrolling NEW Students with Hidden Valley

(If your student is currently or has previously been enrolled in an MDUSD school, you do not need to enroll online again)

Please read each step carefully before starting your application.

 

 

Step 1: Check our district link School Site Locator to ensure that Hidden Valley is your student's home school.

 

 

Step 2: Print out and complete Hidden Valley's required registration forms as listed below, according to your student's grade level.

 

** If you are unable to print, you may pick up a packet during the office hours of 7:45 AM-3:45 PM.

** You MUST submit a copy of your student's Birth Certificate or Passport, Immunization Records, Your Photo ID, TWO (2) Proofs of Residency, Residency Verification Form, Home Language Survey, and the additional forms listed below.


 

Step 3: Complete the online registration: Aeries Online Enrollment

 

Please select 2023 as the Enrollment Year for the Fall of 2023-2024. (If you are registering for the current year select 2022)

(You may upload your completed registration forms during this process)

** Please attempt to enter the immunization dates into the online registration. Required immunizations must be given and complete for your student to be enrolled and start school (please see the immunization requirements document listed below).

** Health exams for Kindergarten and TK students should be administered between  March 1, 2023 and August 10, 2023 in order for your student to be allowed to start.

** Dental Assessments should be administered by May 31, 2023, or has occurred within the 12 months before your child first enters public school in either TK, K or 1st grade (Between August 2022 and August 2023).

** Health and Dental Exams MUST be filled out and signed by the doctor BEFORE turning them in.

Step 4: Appointments - Make One!

 

a. Call the office to make an appointment to bring in documents and complete your child's registration.

b. You may email all documents to the following email address - Email: hvesregistration@mdusd.org

(** Note - If your emailed documents are unclear or illegible, you may be asked to resubmit or bring your documents to the office.)


 

Step 5: Confirmation of Completed Enrollment

 

After we have verified that all of the required documents have been completed and submitted, we will either let you know at the time of your appointment, email or call you to confirm completion of enrollment.

 

** REMINDER: Your student's enrollment is not complete until we have received all required documents and forms, with the exception of the Health and Dental Exams, which are due prior to August 10, 2023.


 

Step 6: Sign up for ParentSquare, and download the app on your smart phone. This platform is used by MDUSD and HVE to communicate with families.

 

** You will be able to add and view your student to your PS account 24 hours after we have merged their application into our database.


** Note: If you have moved, decided to withdrawal your student(s) from HVE and/or are going to do homeschooling, we need to have that in writing with the new home address and new school information.

If you are choosing to homeschool, you will also need to provide us with a copy of the PSA (Private School Affidavit) for proof the student is registered to continue their education.
